As you all know by now Jax of Atlanta’s legendary hip-hop crew Binkis Recs went into cardiac arrest while onstage at Lenny's in Atlanta and was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital.

According to close friend and Binkis crew member Flux da Wondabat, Jax was performing the title track from his 2007 solo album, Sharper Images.

“He was performing onstage and he just passed out in the middle of his verse,” said Flux. “We went to the emergency room and then they came out and gave us the word.”

Our love goes out to JAX's family and friends. We want to thank all of you who have shown support over the past few weeks. This all came as a shock to the Hip-Hop community and Jax will truly be missed. JAX was more than an artist here, but also a very good friend of ours and this situation has been tough. Thanks again for all your prayers, love and support.
