He caught many ears
in the past two years with high profile appearances. "We
Can Do This" appeared on the high-selling NBA Ballers
video game. He was included on LRG clothing company's internationally
distributed "Roots People" mix CD. "4 Da Cream" was
the B-side to Phife's recent "comeback" single on
Smokin' Needles Records. That record's success brought Jax
to Japan, where he has fostered a substantial reputation. He
has appeared in the widely circulated Japanese magazines Woofin
and Warp. Jax has been featured in Urb magazine, Elemental
Magazine, Frank, Import Tuner, and regional publications like
Creative Loafing, Insight and Southeast Performer. "What I offer is energetic, fun, current music that feels
a little nostalgic...but not a throwback," Jax stated. "You
can hear I'm having fun. "I'm opinionated, but I'm not
forcing it." A well-rounded and talented artist, Jax has written for Complex
and Frank magazines and oversees all Binkis Records business
ventures, product production, distribution, video creation,
etc. |
